Easter message from MSMH Founder Amy D'Ambra — He is Risen, We are Easter People
As Catholic Christians, we continue to celebrate the Easter season for 50 days until Pentecost. I LOVE the Greek tradition of greeting people throughout this season.

The primary way Greeks greet each other on Easter Sunday and throughout the following days is:
  • Greeting: "Christos Anesti!" (Χριστός Ανέστη!), which means "Christ is Risen!"
  • Response: "Alithos Anesti!" (Αληθώς Ανέστη!), which means "Truly He is Risen!"

They say this to one another for the entire 50 days AFTER Easter.  Imagine how wonderful it would be to greet one another this way! A joyful reminder of the greatest gift in life! Easter is not just something that happened 2000+ years ago… it is happening in our lives today. Jesus shows us every day that, no matter what we do as individuals or as a community… He looks at us with a LOVE worth dying for. HE did and will DIE for you… so that you will be free to love. He desires our love that much, and He speaks into our heart and soul with every Word.

"If, in reading the Gospels, we do not hear Jesus speaking to our contemporary situation, we are missing their meaning.”
—Fr Richard Rohr
May you hear and see Our Lord in all situations of life! Happy Easter from our hearts to yours!
