The Love of a Father
Watching my son-in-law, Connor become the father of my grandbaby has made my heart explode and expand beyond measure!
Connor is a loving husband, I saw the way he cared for my daughter, stood by her, and gave comfort with every breath and pain of labor.
Then, came our grandson, Luca...It was a convergence of the most amazing emotions both relief and joy of NEW LIFE. As I watched Connor hold his son in his arms for the first time, I could feel it was an instantaneous lifetime bond of love, protection, and family inheritance.
It was more than love at first site—it was a lineage of life that culminated in pure perfection in a tiny human. A father was born.
The love of a father… this is what we celebrate today, this is what we pause and take notice of today, and this is what we give thanks for today!
I invite you to close your eyes and envision your father or brother or son—a precious moment when the love of a father or father-figure bubbled over so big that it touched your heart and pushed it out to new horizons, a love without boundaries. Envision a moment when he protected you, encouraged you, or simply held you. A moment where you felt seen, known, and loved. A moment with a father.

God, our Father
Bless these men,
That may find strength as fathers.
Let the examples of their faith and love shine forth.
