The Powerful Intercession of St. Joseph

After 40 years of marriage, my husband decided that he wanted to become a Catholic and began the RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) program in the fall of 2018. 

During Lent in 2019, his business was in crisis. I suggested that we both say a Novena to St. Joseph. This was my husband's first Novena as well. 

We faithfully said the Novena together for all nine days. As a follow-up to the Novena, we had also agreed to meet at our parish for the Stations of the Cross, which he had never experienced before. 

It was a workday, and the stations had begun, but my husband hadn't arrived yet. I was disappointed, yet I knew he was coming from his office. 

We began the 3rd Station when suddenly, he arrived and simply said, "I'll explain my delayed arrival after this."

Walking out of the Church at the conclusion of the stations of the cross, he explained what had happened. Just before he needed to leave to meet me at Church, his client called to say that they finally accepted the terms of the contract that had been delayed, and it had finally been signed!

This one phone call dramatically changed our entire financial situation.

My husband's faithful devotion to St. Joseph continues daily. Every time the hourly minutes show up as a succession of the same three numbers: 1:11, 2:22, or 3:33, he stops his work, turns off the car radio, or puts a call on hold to say the powerful prayer to St. Joseph.
