Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The first and only human being to simultaneously be SAINT AND HERO from the moment of her creation was Mary; our Lady, Mother of God, Queen of the Universe. This week we celebrate her birthday, a beautiful tradition which Christianity has universally shared with the world since the early 7th century.

In Mary, God created the perfect vessel whose body as a young pregnant woman would later become the living temple of the God man. With the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, each one of us receives our royal dignity, an elevation of our humanity. But more importantly, we receive a mother- and who could ask for a better one?

Here at My Saint My Hero, we are creating a community that supports each other through blessings and prayer. We are united in striving to be heroes of today so that we can then become the saints of tomorrow. At any given moment in time, there are billions of people living this mutual call to holiness- working to live heroically with the potential for TRUE greatness.

Let’s ask our Lady, in honor of her birthday, to walk with each of us and our intentions in a special way. With her intercession, praying for us, and obtaining special help, we too can become the saints of tomorrow.
