Sacred Heart of Jesus - Why do we celebrate different Feast Days in our Catholic Faith?

Why do we celebrate different Feast Days in our Catholic Faith? I believe it is because as we acknowledge the day as special, we place it into our awareness to pray with a common intention, a common prayer among all the Catholics throughout the world  - wow, now that is a powerful truth! Let’s take time today at 3 pm (the hour of DIVINE MERCY) and pray together. Pray for Divine Love to consume us, to be alive within us and to be shared with everyone everywhere.

Pray with me now:

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, wash over me with your love, allow me to feel your presence in this very moment, as I place my hand over my heart, I feel my own heart beating and as I feel the rhythm of my heartbeat, I imagine connecting that beat with Jesus and Mary… together in a rhythm of life. Pouring out from the heart of Jesus comes rays of bright light and as they reach out from His heart and touches mine, the bright WHITE Light begins to offer rays of blue, red, yellow - the light from His most Sacred Heart is beaming into colors through the prism of LIFE. This light is enveloping me inside a warm cocoon of Divine Light. I hear the rhythm of our hearts beating together as I say YES to the magnificence of this union in love. My heart is aflame with Your Love Jesus. As I take a deep breath I breathe in your love and your life. Breathe into my soul Jesus and allow your most Sacred Heart to beat within me. May I be your love on this earth at this moment in this time.

In the most glorious and holy name of Jesus, we pray… AMEN — Amy D'Ambra

Three hearts woven together by the grace of everlasting love.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Pure Heart of Joseph represent the eternal love of family. Wear this bracelet as a reminder that your heart is woven together with your family and through this divine union you are called to echo the eternal love of God.

Christian tradition recognizes sacred icons as a way for the Holy Spirit to bless us with the truths of our faith. It is said that iconography, or the “writing” (painting) of icons provides a window to heaven.

Holy Family Sacred Icon Cuff

With the writing of the sacred heart image for Holy Family Cuff by iconographer Vivian Imbruglia, we can feel a sense of unconditional love and sacrifice as we think about the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Pure Heart of the dear and faithful Joseph.
