In January 2001, I had the opportunity of greeting Pope John Paul II in St. Peter’s Square. I knelt before him for a few seconds, grasped his hand, received his blessing. I walked off the platform still in a daze. Had I really been blessed by the Pope?

It is no coincidence that St. Benedict is one of the patron saints of My Saint My Hero. It is not us that chose him; he chose us!

Today as we celebrate St. Ignatius of Loyola, I am jumping up and down with joy!!! I love this saint! It is because of him that I had the opportunity to dive deep into our faith and truly FALL IN LOVE WITH GOD!!! St Ignatius thank you for your spiritual exercises!
